AMARU
AMARU is a 2D online multiplayer card game for Windows and Mac which aims at revolutionizing the online card game scene. A match is played by 4 players and a boss driven by an AI. The 4 players are challenged in new ways, having to collaborate with the opponents against a common enemy, Amaru, whilst creating and maintaining an edge with the others since only one player will win the match. ETNA
ETNA (Entertainment Training Neuro Affective) is a Virtual Reality room-scaled FPS game developed for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. In this game, the difficulty is changed dynamically in three ways: according to the performances of the player, to the affective state of the player (measured through his/her skin conductance level) and according to both of them. A Slime’s Tale
A Slime’s Tale is a RPG single player game developed by me (Simone Amico), David Jozefczak and Nikhil Shankar during the CS426 Video Game Design course at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In “A Slime’s Tale” the player controls Sam, a slime character which is capable of movement, transforming into an enemy that has beaten (inheriting the enemy’s abilities) and splitting into more slimes.
